The Tedder Company mourns the loss of founder and co-owner Doug Tedder.

Tedder was in the heating and air business for more than 25 years and served as co-owner and operator of The Tedder Company.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Chuck Mullins and David Pullias officiating. Burial will follow in Dilton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Local business leader Doug Tedder lost his battle with cancer Thursday (9/3/09) morning. The 57-year old Murfreesboro resident was co-owner of the Tedder Company. In fact, he had been in the heating and air conditioning business here in Rutherford County for over 25-years.
Doug Tedder is survived by his wife of 38-years, Connie, and a son Jay Tedder, along with his daughter Jana Akins who now lives in Arizona. Family visitation is at Woodfin Memorial Chapel Friday from 4:00 in the afternoon until 8:00 in the evening. Funeral services are 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Woodfin Chapel here in Murfreesboro.
WILLIAM DOUGLAS "DOUG" TEDDER, age 57 of Murfreesboro died Thursday
September 3, 2009. He was a born in Memphis TN and was preceded in
death by his father, Billy Tedder.
Mr. Tedder was a member of
Kingwood Heights Church of Christ, and had attended Oklahoma Christian
University on a track scholarship. Doug had been in the Heating and Air
business in Rutherford County for over 25 years. He was co-owner and
operator of The Tedder Company.
He is survived by his wife of
38 year, Connie Tedder, son, Jay (Abby) Tedder of Murfreesboro;
daughter, Jana (Rob) Akins of AZ; mother, Clara Ann Tedder of
Paragould, AR; sisters Connie (Richard) Walkins, and Janet (James)
Brandon both of Paragould AR; uncle, Jerry (Frankie) Jetton of Cherokee
Village AR.
Pallbears will be family, friends, and employees of
The Tedder Company. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to
Crowley's Ridge Academy in Paragould, AR or American Brain Tumors
Association.
